It’s that time of year again for Vacation Bible School (VBS). And once again we’ll be offering VBS for children between the ages of 5 and 12. The dates for VBS are July 26-30, 2010, and the schedule will be the same Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon)

This years VBS theme comes from Group Magazine and is entitled, Egypt: Josephs Journey from Prison to Palace. Of course, as you can already tell from the title, the theme centers around the life and events of Joseph which are recorded in Genesis chapters 37 through 50. Josephs story is an amazingly true account of how God triumphs through us in spite of our circumstances. Time and again, Joseph faced incredible challenges brought about by the malice and carelessness of others. But instead of giving up, he was used in an extraordinary way to help others survive a coming crisis.
